I never said it would be two weeks exactly. TURN ORDER: PATRIA -> VENICE -> CATALONIA ケケケケケケケケケケケケケケケケケ The question of what Spania wanted to be was made clear when on a rainy day for the Mediterranean, the border between Neapolita and Venice was breached for the first time since the two territories had become independent of eachother by the treading of tanks and the high buzzing of bullets. The grand European Unification Plan has been set into motion. Their first stop; the reclamation of Rome as Patria's equal, and a test to see if they could do what their sister could never in a million years. [FRONT: PUNCTURE THE SUN] Perhaps Spania's most appropriate asset is their adaptations for the usage of Drone and Air Superiority. Lining it's posture along the Adriatic coastline would be the sight of thousands of deployed drones, interconnected through satellite to communicate with each other in units reminiscent of an ant colony. Due to the short distance, this allows for the drones to have almost instant reaction times. Built with a similar base from the USoLRH's HEMP SDs (Older Models specifically. Spania neither has the resources or logistics to supply some of the NASM's modern designs), these drones would be equipped several-fold with Turrets, EMPS, Jammers, Communications Arrays, coated with Faraday Cages and simplistic Artificial Intelligences (for the 24th century) able to coordinate and compile information on the fly. They would be used primarily to disrupt any sort of electromagnetic organization on the coastlines of the Adriatic while acting as a pest go into disarray, constantly arriving and shooting down on decks and positions before the arrival of the Spanian military proper. These Drones are to be similarly deployed...anywhere possible, really, with similar operations coming in for the Tyrrhenian and their Balkan territory. Tungsten Rods are lined by the dozen from Orbit, charged to relativistic speeds before being blasted down by precise stations down upon weary bases across the entirety of Venice. Military Stations, Supply Lines, Positions, and Government buildings are decimated within minutes, with consistent refills for nearly 12/7 bombings readied through trips across Spania's belt colonies into the inner solar system done by unmanned spaceships. [FRONT: FACIENS MARE NOSTRUM] In short; Spania has the naval buildup to completely entrap the entire western mediterranean and the Biscay Bay. Catalonia's own good will was turnt against them as the Balearic islands' harbors became the sight of the war's first battles, cruiseships firing off ballistics down on their naval counterparts without any form of warning. As Spania was much more prepared to engage in this immediate assault than either benefactor's ability to really organize thanks to their interconnected networking, it was easy for Spania to initiate rounding campaigns and coastal occupation of the Balearics as troops were sent inland of the islands to make organized resistance a police affair whilst blockading the Catalonians in both the med & Biscay to prevent them from possibly gaining supplies from the outside. Patria proposes a doctrine that the Biscay Bay will have 'unrestricted warfare on any naval vessels coming in, or out, that seek to smuggle unwanted goods into the currently liquidating lands of the Catalonians'. Constant air patrols and augmented anti-air systems on Spania's naval prowess will do similar unrestrictions towards attempts at packages and delivery, if not solely for the aid of ensuring evacuation of such peoples. Italy is a much more bruteforce and straightforward affair. Ships docking from naples would come forth in along the adriatic and tyrrhenian alongside the kaleidoscope of drone, tungsten, and bombers all piledriving italian logistical might into the ground, battering their defenses. Catalonia received similar treatment. [FRONT: BRIDGECROSSER] With the Catalonians completely unprepared for the mobilized force of 530,000 coming through the mountains of Spania armed to the teeth with canisters, guns, grenades, armored cars, and a heck of alot of bombers. Piling onto the front would be the overwhelming philosophy of a...modernized, thinking woman's blitzkrieg, thus dubbed by the Patrians as the 'Moryokuka', Patria's ambition was a swift, overwhelming destruction of supply logistics, frontlines, and morale through supremacy on every last front. And their little tool would be through Catalonia's own weapons, a little something reverse-engineered and put alongside the drones in both italian and catalonian fronts; Nanobots. Instead of simply being purposed to plug up guns on the molecular level and jam them, these badboys were made to be active disruptors. Repurposed Grave Digger technology (deepcut to the AGC) have them, upon activation in droves by the dropping of airplanes, rapidly disorganize and reshape inorganic material into unusuable pieces of junk. On the more traditional side of things. . .
. . . 'Rush and Hold' Warfare (A method named by Madridya, segmentated siege warfare reliant on philosophies adjacent to 'mastering' the new age of Siege Warfare through Domed Cities) is a favorite for the Catalonian front. Adopting 'Instantaneous defense' setups from their brief war with the Dominion, towns that were to be struck down by the Patrians would become strongholds dotting the frontlines through the positioning of extended & reliable supply hubs and highly defended transport across mountainous terrain. Frontline application of heavy IFVs and APCs across the plateaus leading into the border, kept stable with tracking anti-air and masterful bombings lead by Spania's infamous Air Corps (the same brutal dogfighters that singlehandedly destroyed the reclamation government's previous entire airforce), the balance of hyper-offensive and hyper-defensive mechanisms would let Patria blitz through their unprepared, disorganized foes in record speeds whilst ensuring they could retain momentum and territory as far as they possibly could before they'd stall from the constant influx. Venice needed more pressure, seeing as they were already preparing themselves. With the Air Corps, orbital bombardment, and nanobots bumrushing and rapidly disintegrating their defensive positions and quite literally rearranging the terrain itself into unsuitable forms, the Naples' forces were quick to press them into the backline with the Moryokuka strikes of overwhelming sight of tanks and shooters. Considering Spania already knew all about Catalonia's tactics, they were more inclined to make sure Venice was under pressure & control through the dissemination of chaos. Revolts and sabotage by the reds on the streets of cities, whilst unable to engage in true rebellion, still stagnated movements for the local police and drew away from the front that Patria excelled in plowing. It was coincidental that the NASM was striking the Blue Zhongguo in it's own Red Flood across the Eurasian continent. Neither two had actually coordinated these attacks. (Please have a good reason for actually intervening in the war beyond 'omg free land!' or '400k legions from the town of maranco in the zipbleb region of sudamerikkka want puppets'.)
