Here it is! So for the finals, I decided that if I was going to do it, I was going to give the very best I could. So I made the outfit I designed for my OC Eliora in real life. She’s the main character for my offsite comic, and so even if I don’t win, then I still get a cosplay of my OC! :) Eliora has a shirt with a high collar and uneven bottom, with buttons and detailing on the front. Her jacket is long and flowy, with the back being large and billowing out in the wind. I had originally thought the jacket would be the hardest part, since I made all the patterns by hand on wrapping paper, but actually the hardest part was the collar. To get it to stay up I had to sew about 7 layers of fabric together. To make this project I needed quite a bit of both hand stitching and the sewing machine. But in the end I’m quite happy with the result! :D (Also, side note, I dyed the ends of my hair green! I love it so much!)
