The invasion of northern Sudan would begin, with our armoured forces along with infantry support advancing towards our main war goals, capture of the Nile and surrounding territories as well as capturing the Red Sea coastline and Port Sudan, the only major city of this region. Considering the size of this country and the state of Sudan as a whole, we should not face much resistance if any at all (assuming that Sudan has not made any radical changes and is still a corrupt state). Once these two war goals are achieved, we’d have basically captured all the major urban centres of the country and isolated them from the outside world through cutting off their sea access. With this, we’d expect them to collapse or surrender, if not we’d simply invade the remaining desert territory and eliminate remaining resistance. Once the war is finished, the entire territory is annexed into Egypt.
