Volcanosecret lay in the elder den, she was struggling. Each breath was painful. She felt her heart slowing. She forced herself up and with the help of Smudgeshadow, who had promised to be with her during her last moon, laid down in Ardentthought's nest, her mate who had passed a moon before. She missed him and wanted to smell his scent again before she passed. She curled up in the nest, weak. 'Goodbye Pyroclan, my friends, my family, everyone. I love you.' She thought, and then her blue eyes closed. The yellow she-cat with her red markings lay still in the nest. Her chest no longer rose and fell, she was gone. Smudgeshadow felt her go still, pelt growing cold slowly. Vol hoped she'd see Ardent in Starclan(but Ardent's owner had a reincartion token, T-T, but Vol don't know that). Dustpetal came in to check on the elder, knowing the loss of her mate was effecting her deeply. The clan's medicine cat paused upon seeing the stillness of Vol and Smudgeshadow laying there. Volcanosecret's purple beanie and the heart necklace wasn't on her. She'd given them to her grandkits, Ardentpaw and Secretpaw a moon earlier. "Is she gone?" The medicine cat asked the warrior who nodded sadly, tearing building up. "...She was a great cat.. I'm going to miss her. Secretpaw and Ardentpaw will too..." Smudgeshadow finally spoke. "She was indeed, I will tell the clan." Dustpetal said and walked out to find the leader to tell of the elder's passing. (I'M CRYING! I WAS TEARING UP AS I WROTE THIS! VOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! I'ma go be sad in a corner now, T0T) (It's been so fun to have Vol! I am sad that I won't be able to interact with Cam as much due to his/her/their new interaction rules but I respect it.)
