I'm so excited for it to be a parent again after its first litter and well, here it is. This litter is FCFS since I want to get these kits signed up ASAP and two kits are already preclaimed. Now, nothing much to say here, so on to the parent! ❝ Day after... ❞ ⭒. ──. ˚₊‧ ❅ ‧₊˚.── .⭒ ꕀ⋆ 002 ⸝⸝ THE PARENT ❆˚₊‧ ╭┈─┈─┈─┈ ─ ❅ ⋆ ༘∘ . ╰▹ @AugustAnimation ꕀ Riverrunner . she/he/it .❊. ┊ ╰▹ Riverrunner is the current deputy of IceClan. It is DID system with three alters: River (she/her), Veer (he/it), and Wonder (it/its). Each alter will have its own perspective on parenting, so we will include a bit about each one. Note: River's ability to front is very limited, and Wonder doesn't like fronting. Veer will probably be the only alter actually parenting these kits. ╰▹ Starting off with Veer. Veer is, to say the least, not a good cat, in general, and this won't change with parenting. Despite already parenting kits before, he still doesn't know anything about raising kits and refuses to ask for help or learn. How much he actually cares about the kits will be debatable but he will pretend to care and see himself as the "protector" of his new kits. Even though the kits are adopted, Veer still views the kits as his own little pawns. It will play with the kits, though only the games it wants. It will give each kit their own nicknames, but they won't necessarily be the nicest to the kit. Veer is not above insulting or tormenting kits if he thinks it is "for their own good". He will compare the kits to each other and to their older siblings with the same reasoning. As said before, it will be protective of the kits. It will often check in with them often and ask if anyone has been messing with them. If anyone wrongs the kits, he will find out, and he will give them a piece of his mind, even if it was technically his kit's fault. Honestly, Veer should been kicked out of the nursery after his last little never to return, but here we are with him parenting (for fun! /hj). Feel free to use any of this information to develop a personality for the kit you're applying for; we don't mind! ^^ ╰▹ The kits will be free to call Veer whatever, but just note he won't be super pleased being called Papa or getting any funny nicknames. ╰▹ Next, Wonder! Wonder is a bit of an odd case. It won't necessarily see itself as a parent but more as a friend or a kit to play with. It will sense any emotional bonds with the kits but won't really understand them. It is always happy and wants to support everyone. It doesn't understand the boundaries of others and often comes across as creepy or suffocating. ╰▹ It is welcoming to all nicknames and any parental terms! Any masc, fem, or neutral are all okay! Note: Wonder doesn't actually go by the name 'Wonder' irp, this is just what we call it oorp for our sake. It has no name and is mostly just a fragment used by River and Veer. ╰▹ And lastly, River. As we said before, River isn't able to front often. In irp, River is separated from Veer and Wonder by a mental wall/mountain. There are a few circumstances where River would front, but if she does, she would be distant, confused, and not really know about being a parent to the kits. The kits would be seen as strangers. Mentally, River is a kit as well and would treat the kits as such. ╰▹ River would be willing to be called any feminine parent terms or any other nicknames, though she would be very confused if one of the kits called her Mother. ❝ Day after... ❞ ⭒. ──. ˚₊‧ ❅ ‧₊˚.── .⭒ [continue into Notes & Credits]
