Clouded Leopards are big cats, but despite their names, they are not leopards, but panthers. They are capable of climbing trees upside down and are known as “Phantoms of the Rainforest” They can open their mouths up to 100 degrees, the widest of any big cat today! They are considered vulnerable and there are two distinct species- Mainland Clouded Leopard, and the Sunda Clouded Leopard.
