A Final SNOWGRAVE: The human of PATIENCE attempted a No Mercy route, but was stopped by Sans. As a last resort, the human poured their soul into the CORE, causing a wave of SOULFROST to hit monsters, and caused a cycle of blizzards and freezes to begin. However, Sans accidentally absorbed the PATIENCE soul from the CORE when trying to turn it off, and the human’s coldness and resolve mixed with Sans’s power, causing a infection of permafrost to spread on Sans, only stopping from freezing him entirely when Sans used the PATIENCE soul on it. This now makes Sans many times stronger, with his Gaster Blasters now able to ram opponents, and he can summoned several weapons from his ice trail. He also is now practically indestructible, as he will simply put himself back together if torn apart, and small injuries simply fill back with ice. The ice coffin on his back contains the dust of monsters who fell to the SOULFROST wave. Unlike most of the powerful versions of Sans, this Sans is quiet and when he feels like speaking will use telepathy. He will not attack anyone unless provoked, and prefers to warning off opponents instead of destroying them. However, if he is mad enough he can easily crush anyone in his way. Long live the king of the Monsters: During a Souless Pacifist route, Chara begins to corrupt Frisk in order to cause another No Mercy route. When Frisk faces Asgore, they suddenly lose control and Chara, using Frisk, catches Asgore off-guard and swiftly destroys him. Sans, realizing this is not Frisk’s doing, grabs Asgore’s trident and soul, and uses them to attack Frisk until Chara leaves them. Sans, due to having the knowledge of Asgore’s soul, takes the place as king of the Underground. Sans, now having two powerful souls, can no longer be destroyed in a single hit, and has a high attack stat. He can summoned tridents along with his bones, and now shoots flames with his Gaster Blasters. He is similar to normal Sans but more serious, and prefers to go outside of the castle whenever he can. He is not innately hostile towards Frisk, as he knew that Chara was pulling the strings. He used Chara’s puppeteering of Frisk to cause the barrier to break, and so will occasionally visit the surface.
