This is JJs power play RP, you may read the entirety if you'd like, but my rebuttal is below: Many year ago, Levant was in danger. Mesopotamian forces surrounded them and invaded. The people of Levant waited for their leaders to respond, but found nothing. Their gods had abandoned them in their time of need, leaving them to be subjugated and oppressed. So, they cried out loud and long but nothing came. They were shoved into camps, sterilized and forced into labor. The thing the Mesopotamians didn't expect: journalism. The horrors of the camp where secretly shared as the underground movement grew. Now, the Gods have answered their call. As they were gone fighting a multiverse destroying threat, the Children of Gabriel, their devout followers went underground. The people of the Levant were unhappy by the Muslims oppressing them, including the Muslims themselves. They all longed for a day where they could be unified together, equal. When they lashed out, they were crushed by the oppressive regime and were threatened with being ripped from their home and deported. But they can't deport everyone. Now, they all revolt. The young and old and weak gather in the streets, blocking the way of the occupying forces while the able-bodied Warriors for Freedom strike the enemies. Lead by their anger, they struck, and they struck hard! The Mesopotamian forces occupying Jerusalem where struck down and the ones sympathetic to the cause of equality switched sides. Then, ARG arrived. Fueled by the anger of their people, ARG's power came, slicing through tanks and armored vehicles with ease. Accompanied by a mysterious black cat, they cut their way through the city and liberated it in a matter of hours. Now, they must push their way to free all of Levant from the clutches of tyranny and break free once and for all. (info about this, that doesn't fit into the story format) How we actually do it. First of all, ARG isn't powerplay, because they aren't actually doing too much. besides, it's powerplay to annex me when I'm kicked from the RP. also, since many people in this place support us, it shouldn't be too hard to steal equipment and use the stuff to fight back. we can use this stuff plus the fact that we are oppressed to fight back and beat them out of the city. we have the element of surprise too, so it shouldn't be hard. Journalism spreading the horrors of the camps, which are worse than the 40s Germany somehow, will help boost the amount of people joining. Sorry if this rping sucks, I haven't had the chance to do much before now. Nice critiquing would be good.
Firstly, #1, you can't use "journalism" if you have nobody to share this information with. Mesopotamian forces have arrested the majority of the people living in the Levant, or deported them to Brittany, meaning they couldn't even share the info about the camps, or let alone, if they were deported, even have knowledge of it. Muslims are wary of more rebellions in the region, considering what the previous one did to them, they wouldn't support another. You think Jews were instantly trustful of the new German government after ww2 or the people? You'd be wrong. And using Gods altogether is power play, you may claim its a "general" or smth, but its obviously a god. Generals don't just appear out of nowhere from people's "anger" and also, 15% of my military is stationed within Jerusalem, and you haven't explained how you even would DEFEAT these forces numbering at THOUSANDS of men compared to your puny, unarmed, under supplied, and out-manned rebellion. The only RP you give about the capture of Jeruasalem is this: "Warriors for Freedom strike the enemies. Lead by their anger, they struck, and they struck hard! The Mesopotamian forces occupying Jerusalem where struck down" How were we struck down? Why? What tactics did you use? None were specified. You SOMEHOW crushed a better armed army with thousands in their ranks. JJ, I'm so absolutely done with you.
