Modern setting: + Loves analogue watches. Always wearing at least one. + Their everyday outfit is a weird mix of formal and casual. Button up shirt, nice pants and a tie, but with a hoodie thrown over the top. + Speaking of button up shirts they have very many, all with a different design that Bladderwort has deemed 'cool'. Most feature bugs of some kind. + Suits or vests on formal occasions. + Make up use is exclusively eyeliner along their lower eyelids. Sort of matching their cat design undereye markings. + Forensic entomologist. They love their job, and love when people haven't heard of it because it then they get to explain it. + Goes on hikes, but always takes ages because they keep stopping to look at things. + Listens to a lot of music, but barely knows anything about the artists/bands. Doesn't even know band members by name, they just like hearing the songs. + Very into alternative music. Favourite band is the Talking Heads. + Favourite author is probably Shakespeare. Favourite play is Hamlet. They prefer the tragedies but love the histories and comedies as well. Not a big fan of the sonnets though. + Otherwise not into theatre, but they memorise and recite their favourite monologs when their alone. + Very into natural history. Has posters featuring anatomy or evolutionary history all over their house, and even a few preserved animals, but barely any photos except a few of them with their siblings. + Tries to keep pot plants which keep dying. They're a bad pot plant parent. + They also like lamps. + Doesn't watch a lot of tv, but when they do it's usually action movies like the Jumanji or the Jules Verne inspired ones. Thinks they're kind of stupid but enjoys them anyway. Also likes most shows featuring an apocalypse.
Typical medieval fantasy/dnd setting: + Raised in a fortress by the sea and received combat training there. + Preferred weapon is a bow and arrows, but they'd rather not fight at all. + Hates everything to do with fighting in fact. Not very good at it either. Planning to leave the fortress as soon as they can. + Spends most of their time polishing weapons or making arrows, so they can help out without having to fight. + Hair is longer than in the modern setting and reaches an inch or so bellow their shoulders. Sometimes they wear silver beads in it or weave parts into thin braids + Shirts with ruffles + a cloak or leather coat. + They know a little magic but doesn't consider themself a wizard. Mostly they just like learning things. + Knows a lot about mythical creatures and hopes to one day leave the fortress to study them. + Almost always carrying a satchel full of books. + At some point they get a pet dragon. It's a very small dragon. Medium bird sized ish. + There is a reason for this. It's because I'm considering going for the seagull companion and the small dragon would be greedy and annoying but mostly harmless, like a seagull.
