The city of Chicago has decided to finance an expedition of around 100 people into the underworld, offering them gear, weapons, and other foods and supplies they may need. After they crossed through the ginormous walls as tall as skyscrapers, housing most of the low income population of Chicago within them, the environment changed right before their eyes. Everything was crumbling, buildings stretched out across the land as if a giant chainsaw came and cut each one. Distant sounds could be heard in the distance, gunfire, mixed with screaming, and howls. 15 of the members, despite many warnings from the group, set of to explore the sounds. They would find blood ponds along the way, littered with bodies inside, mostly humans, but other humanoid creatures, their face appearing alien to the people, with long stretched out faces, and their arms and legs appearing to be stretched out. They eventually reached the noises, finding it to be a battle, some humans, against some humanoid creatures that were similar to those they saw earlier, however, it appeared that the humans were losing the battle, and the group got caught in the crossfire,ending up in only 6 of their members remaining, who ran off to find the other group, whilst being chased by the humanoid creatures. Only 3 ended up outrunning the creatures, who were succumbed, and from behind, they heard screaming, and what sounded like bones cracking, an other gurgling noises.
