update on may 3rd: replaced footstep sound bc i didnt like it lor e: Batter was a world-famous athlete- possibly the best in the world at most sports she competed in- particularly baseball. An amazing runner, not a bad pitcher- but her real specialty was hitting. She had only ever struck out 2 times in her entire 10 year run as a batter- and most of the time, she hit runs effortlessly. She made the sport look like child's play. However, she began to think. Every time she looked at the newspapers saying how amazing she was- she never saw a name. "World-famous batter". "Legendary baseball player". "God on the field". ...Where was her name? ...Come to think of it... ...WHAT was her name? For weeks, she slowly lost her mind trying to find anything about her family, her origin, her NAME, ANYTHING she had to tie to any identity she had aside from baseball and sports. ...She kept finding nothing. Her teammates, other athletes, anyone kept trying to help. ...She took that as them hiding the truth from her. After all, a lot of THEM had names. ...Why didn't she? So THEY must be the reason she can't find ANYTHING about who she is. ... So she did the only thing she could think of. Get rid of the liars. Kill them. All of them. She killed (almost) all of them successfully. Everyone else was slower, weaker, and less durable than her. After all, she was the legend. They were just her teammates and competitors. They were weaker than her. ...She only noticed one missing AFTER she was finished. Run, Goallie Run as fast as you can (goallie is not my character and if the guy who made goallie does not want him tied into athlete lore i will change this) i've got sfx ideas for the noise skin + gun skin, but ill make that later tell me if i should add anything or if i missed anything also i would voice act but i am a man so i cant do the voice i'd imagine for her no kill sfx cuz i dont feel like it also, new mechanic for FASTBALL- if a projectile is coming at The Athlete, and she times Fastball correctly, she doesn't throw a baseball, just charges up a swing and reflects the projectile back at whoever used it dunk is also only 2s in the air i know, 3s sounded weird with the sfx will probably end up making an OST post at some point Sound Credits Most sounds- Scratch Explosion + All the Dunk SFX + Footstep SFX- Undertale Beep SFX- someone on youtube Parry- ULTRAKILL
