Node α is the newly constructed arctic facility for Vanguard Dynamics, serving as its headquarters. It reaches a depth of 10km underground for geothermal power, and consists of 10 sublevels and a topside, each at 1km intervals: Topside: Employee offices, entrance, cargo entrance, external defense grid. Sublevel 1: Living quarters, auxiliary support. Sublevel 2: R&D, manufacturing. Sublevel 3: Quality control, logistics. Sublevel 4: Storage. Sublevel 5: Security, communications. Sublevel 6: Maintenance wing. Sublevel 7: Experimental wing. Sublevel 8: High-security storage. Sublevel 9: Executive offices, [CLASSIFIED]. Sublevel 10: Geothermal siphons, emergency bunker.
