Hi! Welcome to Names are too hard, a FCFS donated kittypet litter with two kits! Rules: Since this is a kittypet kitter, you must have had at least one Gens cat prior to joining this litter. Be nice No discrimination allowed Please try to be active (life first though) No major redesigns; accessories, dye, scars, and minor changes are okay, but not the whole design. Codeword is your username or nickname General common sense rules The kits: Alistair | AMAB | Unofficial boots and earrings as accessories! | No research | A tabby with many shades of grey fur, stripes in darker shades while the muzzle and tail are highlighted in the brightest shade. | Based on the 'names are too hard, everyone is Alistair now' joke that my classmates keep saying, idk if it's from somewhere in particular. @ Alastair | AMAB | Unofficial necklace and star pins accessories! | No research | Another tabby, this one with generally darker shades. Ironic, isn't it, that his eyes are lighter than his brother's? A lighter cape pattern shows on his back, and his ears, tail, and stomach are outlined with that same pale shade. | Same 'based on'. Form: Which kit? Make sure to spell them correctly! // Your username // Kit's personality // Kit's identity // Plans? // Research if required // Other Litter backstory: One nameless cat met another. Neither called the other anything other than a title. Thus, they didn’t think to name their kits. The mother was returned to the breeding program, the father to his home. The kits never saw the father again. The mother, however, was allowed to keep them for the first moon. She decided that, unlike her, the kits deserved names. But she was unable to find good names for the kits, leaving them with different spellings of the same name: Alistair and Alastair. Alistair was given her earrings, Alastair her brooches. The father had, previously, given the older kit, who would come to be known as Alistair, his boots, and Alastair the necklace he’d stolen from a twoleg. Names, for the mother, had always been hard. She encouraged the kits to believe the same, and to call all cats whose names they didn’t know some variation of their own names. The end!
