I write a lot of tlw stuff so yea... doing 3 entries. this stuff is Itoe and Sirinth related (p1) "Itoe, did you sort those files?" Alas asked Itoe, Itoe raised his head it was dark and the office was quiet "…No not yet, sorry I feel asleep." he said stretching grabbing the papers, "Alright, its fine. Don't stay to late, I'm going home though. Can you close?" she asked him, bag in hands, Tiero came in ready to leave, "Yea, I can. Have a good night." he said with a smile as he started sorting them, grabbing a pen "You to." she said, taking Tiero's hand and leaving with him. The room was quieter than it already was, the faint sound of a fan, no one was still in the office anymore, Itoe was alone. He sat down, staring at the papers then rubbing his face with his hands, taking a deep breath in and out. The clock was still ticking down the hallway, the light flickering, most already turned off. By the time he left it was a little before midnight, he had shut off all of the lights and locked the building. It was raining outside, all of the street lights were also off, not a sound but rain hitting the ground. Itoe walked home, umbrella overhead. As he arrived home he closed and locked the door. He hung his umbrella then walked over to the kitchen, putting some food in the microwave, leftovers from a friend. As it finished he took it out, placing it on a small plate, on a small table. Two chairs, one person. He stared at the food he was alone, like every night. It was now midnight and it was quiet, it was normal, he was used to this kind of silence. Did he ever let anyone get to close, he always just kept pushing everyone away, he deserved this silence, this loneliness. "…Happy birthday Sirinth…" Itoe said to himself, "…and happy birthday, to me…", he took his fork in hand and scooped a bite of the smushed cupcake then he ate it. Just like every year, but not just like every day because this time he was alone, no one to celebrate with, not even Sirinth, he was gone and if he was here… he wouldn't care anymore. Itoe didn't know why he still cared, but it just felt important to do. He didn't finish the cupcake, he didn't do anything else, he didn’t want to have this day continue, he just wanted to go to sleep. Itoe closed his eyes, it all went quiet, in his head and around him. He finally was calm, no one to bug him, no burden to think about in the moment, nothing. Just him. --- (p2) Sirinth stared at Itoe, "…Look at the sky.", Itoe nodded "Mhm… I'm looking." Sirinth looked at the sky, the sun was gone but the sky was a shade of dark orangey red "That's my favorite color." the light clouds faded into the sky, stretching across it "it's like a star… set on fire, isn't it stunning?" he stated, a warm feeling embraced Itoe and Sirinth "…Yea, it is…" Itoe smiled "It's astounding.", the fields were a golden ginger color, reflecting onto them. "How's your day been..?" Itoe asked, "It's been… Tough." Sirinth continued to look at the sky, not wanting to even set his eyes on Itoe, "Training is, hard. I get that Tiero only wants the best for me but… its challenging… I can't…" Sirinth buried his head into his knees "I feel like… I can't get anything right…", Itoe put his hand of Sirinth's back, moving closer, "Hey… hey, it gets easier, it may be hard now but it gets better… okay..?" Itoe leaned his head onto Sirinth's, "look, just… appreciate this, what we have now." Sirinth looked up, the sky still as beautiful as a moment ago but it just… felt different "…Okay."
…I was finally free, trapped with so much rage but all I had on my mind, was him. I need to see him, I need to know that he is alright. I fly down landing on his balcony the door is shut, locked. I don't want to break in so I knock… It's silent. I pull on the door and it makes a groaning sound, I rip it open the lock breaking. The apartment is dark, messing, tissues, empty medicine bottles, mail flooding the entrance and trash everywhere. "Caleb..?" Where is he, I don't hear him or see him anywhere. He hasn't moved out, I can only tell because of pictures of us on the wall and little notes he'd leave himself to remember. I continue looking around for him, I can't find him anywhere… I call out again "Caleb?", where is he? Is he okay? Am I to late? I open the bedroom door and I am sickened by the stench that comes out. It smells like a rotting animal… that’s been there for… years. I open the door more, I want to call out for him once more but my throat is caught up in knots. The room is dark but the light through the window gives me just enough light to see. I squint into the darkness. And then, that's when I see him… lying there on the floor, a stain of blood that had sunk into the carpet looks like it had come out of his mouth… like he had coughed it up, he was always coughing blood… I knew it was painful for him he just could never admit it to me. He's just… rotting there. His eyes are open and still, his body lifeless…motionless. I can't move, I feel like I can't breathe yet I am. "C-… ca… Caleb…?", everything is shaking, I know… I know he is dead but… I don’t want him to be. I cover my mouth with my hand, biting down on it. I want to scream. I want to scream until my lungs burn and my throat is sore. If I just was more careful, if I just didn't get caught, if it wasn't for Itoe and I wasn't sealed away in that star if I just…. If I just listened to Itoe and if I could've just figured out the cure… he wouldn't be… like this. He wasn’t going to make it, no one else wanted to help him… Only I knew about his sickness. Even his landlord hasn't noticed. No one cared about him, no one loved him… but me and I couldn't even be there for him. He was suffering his entire life and I couldn't do anything… My rose has wilted, died to the point it's no longer salvageable, it'll never come back. It's dead. Now I grow cold in my garden, no flowers are growing anymore. I'll wait for you to grow back. --- Sirinth and Itoe stood, tension between them. It was late, they were in a secluded area. "I don't want to do this anymore, it's wrong Sirinth." they were both guilty, blood on their hands "You don't want to do this?! You think it's a choice?" Sirinth grabbed Itoe's collar "Well it isn't. If you really want something you have to work for it Itoe. You think I want to be doing this?" Sirinth snarled, dropping Itoe to the ground. It went quiet, "There are consequences for what we've done." Itoe spoke, voice quiet. "We won't get caught" Sirinth said dismissively, "We're going to, and you know it." Itoe continued, standing up "I don't want to be a king from blood, I won't kill anymore." Itoe's fists balled. "Choose your side but just know I'll only be with you on one. You'll have no one." Sirinth started to leave, "I'm fine with that." Itoe answered, Sirinth didn't stop. He had it coming, I never told him I knew about Caleb I think that would've made him to mad, to actually control, I don't regret my decision. I don’t miss him and I don't think of him as family, as my brother, that's what matters. I don't care if he hates me, I'd hate me to. Tiero approached Itoe standing next to him, "How's it going?" he asked, he sounded worried "Fine, the half gods are doing great." They reply dismissively knowing what Tiero is really wanting to know. "Itoe. How are you since the… Seal." Tiero turned towards Itoe, his tone more serious as he looked down at him, "…I'm fine." he responded trying to ignore Tiero keeping his attention on the students, "No you're not, I know you two were close." Tiero grabbed Itoe's shoulder forcing Itoe to look his way "Itoe, are you okay." Itoe quickly brushed him off, "I- I don't want to talk about it." Tiero stared at Itoe, then responded "Fine." then he turned and left. I'll never be the same. 'There's no going back.' 'choose your side.' I hate you, -Itoe You just got to get in a zone, if you keep believing something at some point it'll be true, it'll be right or you just finally tricked your brain into believe it is true.
