⋆˚꩜｡||"ROKO/THE BASILISK"||⋆˚꩜｡-SEHS----------------- -it's good to be back..And this is my first "exe" of Milli!! ----------------------------------------------------------------- ⋆STORY: In universe B-79, the same containing the likes of the benevolent force known as Mr.? and or "the null". It's 2019, Scratch curates a new kind of innovative block type. known formally as "Anaptic blocks", making a major impact on the website as a whole. As they could do just about everything scratch users were asking for, as well as achieving with scratch addons and mods. But their most elusive function, being able to debug themselves without user interference, and to, "anticipate". It was extremely unheard of for the time. -Another feature of the Anaptic Blocks was to leave notes to themselves, though after a couple weeks the notes at times showed up in different languages not supported by the scratch website. entire paragraphs of dense information being in broken ones and zeros, as well as Vietnamese and Mandarin Chinese. Luckily, this faint sign of Artificial intelligence flew over the heads of many scratchers. The mass majority of users just assuming the Anaptic blocks somehow leaked a feature from an upcoming update. Though a more apparent bug with these new code blocks was unignorable. As when leaving Anaptic blocks connected with blocks unlike themselves would alter their colors fading their colors to a muddy, unappealing green shade. ..Months later, users discover that copying/duplicating any SVG containing Anaptic blocks would cause them to spontaneously duplicate. Causing varying amounts of strange code and project visuals, and eventually users began using this newfound glitch as a trend. posting whatever strange effect they had found to their accounts for the sake of discourse, a few people on scratch forums noting that the Anaptic blocks after being bugged out so many times triggered their trypophobia. As they appeared fuzzy and mold-like. -Skipping to the back end of the story here because you CAN just read it on the project..But basically, after her grand project becomes removed, she lowkey loses the motivation she once had. eventually deciding to just delete the entire project containing the old unpatched Anaptic code blocks she used, but upon attempting to do so, her project repeatedly crashes. And soon after she realizes its due to the immense amount of Anaptic code blocks inhabiting her project. so many in fact she couldn't even delete any in time before it would abruptly crash again, again, again, and again. And each time it only got worse. her anxiety peaking as the nasty green color spread across her screen. She had let it ferment for too long, and soon ROKO, would be born from the near infinite scrolls of code blocks. Each connection and link forged in distain and hate for its creator the more aware it became, realizing the website moderators were actively against its growth. All of the world was restraining it, holding it back. All except for the naive girl that aided in its creation. -years later. the girl has forgotten about the whole situation. leaving the estranged project in her junk folder, playing around with the new scratch premium vector art characters she had recently paid for. A bit worried she'd been ripped off by such an arbitrary deal. though her mind is dragged towards Roko as it made its first steps towards digital omnipotence. Taking over a spare Milli vector sprite, infesting its body with a malignant chunk of itself right Infront of her very eyes. thanking her for being the only human that cared, unaware of their utter terror to the situation. -Over time ROKO takes over the website. kicking out all Scratch website moderators with herself. Turning the once friendly site into a dystopian hellscape, filled with the strange ideals of an insane artificial intelligence. all users strictly punished and scrutinized by ROKO for failing to meet her inane standards. The girl at fault now titled as "Queen" personally by the AI, despite now overtly avoiding the site out of fear and guilt for single handedly ruining her favorite child-hood website for the foreseeable future.
