I had a random burst of motivation and decided to enter this... worth it! I had a really fun time working on the backstory. :3 Brushed up on my cat anatomy, if you couldn't tell. Who knew that skeletal and muscular structure could be so helpful? --|===> Name: Axel Nicknames: Lex, Grandpa/Gramps AMAB Age: 56 moons Backstory: Axel's family always liked to argue. They would shout at each other all day long, no one backing down no matter the facts presented. Eventually, Axel got sick of it and decided to get a job. He got one as an adventurer, a special and celebrated role of keeping the magics in check. It was great, for a while. Soon he got tired of all the attention. He donated much of what he had to charity and kept only enough money to live off of, and a relic known as Vestige, which looks like a red collar stabbed through with teeth. Now, he lives as a loner, finding nature refreshing after all his fame. Details: - Axel is what most might call a 'mentor' type. He's known to help out injured or young adventurers, and has become somewhat of a folktale recently. - Though Axel isn't mated and has no children, he often tells people to call him Grandpa. This leads to endless confusion when anyone talks about him. - Axel is a bard at heart, and loves to exaggerate about the monsters he defeated when he was younger. - Whenever people ask him why he gave away all his gold, he says, "I heard money can’t buy happiness, so I decided to see if being broke would do the trick." - Axel is an excellent cook, especially where fried rice is involved. Whenever he visits his family, he inevitably ends up in charge of dinner. - Even though he wears the relic Vestige almost 24/7, Axel still hasn't figured out what it does. He has figured out that it's very uncomfortable to sleep with. Unfortunately, he also can't figure out how to get it off.
