[English] Glow in the Dark - Scratch Week 2026 ----- It’s glow time! Happy Scratch Week, folks! It’s Day 1 and we’re kicking things off with our first studio, Glow in the Dark, where things that glow are taking center stage. When the lights go out, colors transform, shapes feel more mysterious, and even the smallest bit of light can transform a dark space into something new and unique. Whether you’re creating neon landscapes, mysterious nighttime adventures, or glowing creatures, this is your chance to experiment with how things look and behave in the dark! Looking for ideas to get started? - Design a nighttime scene filled with glowing stars, fireflies, or neon lights. - Create a game where players explore a dark space using light to guide them. - Animate glowing creatures that come alive after sunset. - Build a project where objects change color or light up when clicked. - Design interactive artwork of neon signs across a city skyline at night. - Create an animation of glow sticks throwing a dance party. - Make a game where you have to glow in the dark to find your way out of a maze. - Remix a project and give it a glowing nighttime twist! Remember, these are only suggestions! You are welcome to come up with your own ideas as well, or take inspiration from projects already in the studio. What will you create? =^..^= - - - - Scratch Week 2026 was created with and is curated in collaboration with members of the Mentor Program within the Youth Leadership Lab. We may look for more curators to help us in the studio as the week goes on. If we do, we’ll be looking for folks who are helpful, kind, and active in the studio comments and who also seem genuinely interested in helping the studio.
