Fire Flies, also called Lightning Bugs, are an insect known for using bioluminescence to attract a mate. They live in many habitats, like marshes, woodlands, and mountains. While people call them fireflies, they are not flies at all, but a type of beetle instead. Fireflies can "speak" to each other using their bioluminescence. They blink their light on and off to do this. They are nocturnal and sleep during day time. Firefly eggs can sometimes glow a dim light.
I made this in class, I know the firefly looks off cause I had to draw it with my MacBook You can click it to toggle the light on and off
