[Postponed] Hello! This project has been created to provide information on the formation of Howl's Pack. This will be a rogue group of no more than ten members, formed based on what Howl's idea of a wolf pack is. I will go more in-depth on the specifics of the pack, but before you read further, please read these disclaimers, especially if you're interested in having your cat join! Disclaimers: This group has been created to advance Howl's plot, though of course, she won't have control over your character. I point this out to explain that this group will likely disband and/or Howl will leave the pack once she has finished this part of her plotline. The point of her plot is for her to eventually recognize that she has never been a wolf and to accept herself as she is. This pack will also be formed on some of Howl's incorrect assumptions of how wolf packs function, and as such, won't work as well as she hoped. Although she may form some close bonds with pack members, Howl will eventually leave, likely returning to the farm she grew up on. Pack members are welcome to keep it going, but Howl will eventually leave as their leader. (This will likely take place within the next 5-15 weeks, though that's just my rough estimate.) Also, there will be no actual wolves involved with the group, only cats. Alright, now that you've read the disclaimers, we may continue on to the interesting stuff, how the pack will function, and how you can join! The Wolf Pack : General Information The Wolf Pack / Howl's Pack will be located south of human farmland in the forested regions of the EotF. The pack will live in a smallish cave near a stream of water. Howl would have found this a few moons prior to forming the pack and calls the cave, the 'River Hideout'. The Wolf Pack would reside here. Howl may be open to cats 'partially' joining the pack, but would like her pack to stay together in one place. The purpose of this pack would essentially be to live and hunt together, as wolves would. Howl would be partially inspired by these clans she keeps hearing about, though she would never admit that. The focus would be living as a group, sort of like a family. There may be more interesting plot moments in the future, but this is the gist of the group at the moment. The Wolf Pack : Hierarchy/Members The way Howl would run her pack is sort of a mix between how wolf packs stereo-typically work and how they actually do. There wouldn't be much of a hierarchy, as Howl has always viewed wolf packs as an extension of a family anyways. She would deem herself the 'alpha' and may choose someone to be her 'alpha mate' (depends on how the group goes once it's officially formed, could be romantic, platonic, or simply professional relationship), but everyone else would hold the same rank and everyone would be expected to help care for each other. Howl's Pack will include at least two and up to ten (including Howl) members in it. When/if the pack reaches ten, it will be closed to any more joining! Sign-ups will be mostly first come first serve, but if I get enough at the same time I may have to be more picky. We'll see!
