WAVELENGTH Hello Scratch, it's been a while. INSTRUCTIONS This project is an adaptation of the popular board game called "Wavelength". Design-wise, I kept it rather simple, partially because I didn't think more detail was needed, and mostly because I was lazy. This was somewhat rushed, I only made it so that I could play with my friends. But I digress—welcome to my Scratch version of Wavelength! This is a two-player game, and is mobile friendly. HOW TO PLAY WAVELENGTH If you don't know already, here are a set of (hopefully comprehensible) instructions: 1. On both sides of the wheel, think of a contradictive/opposite/different statement. (For example, hot on the right and cold on the left) Keep them in mind, both you and your partner. 2. Tell your partner to close their eyes or look away. Spin the wheel and remember where the shaded triangle is. Press "Go!" when you are ready. 4. Tell your partner to open their eyes. They shouldn't be able to see where the shaded triangle is. 5. Your partner now has to guess where the triangle is. To do this, you will give them a hint. For example, using hot (right side) and cold (left side), if your triangle is at about 45°, you could say something like "iced tea". If it is at 145°, you could say something like "boiling water". 6. Your partner moves the red pointer based on your hint. After they are ready, press on the green tick, and the wheel will reveal where the shaded triangle is. 7. You will be rewarded points based on how good your hint was. 4 points if your partner got it on blue, 3 for orange and 2 for yellow. 8. Press "Again" to restart—now it is your partner's turn to give you hints and yours to guess! Have fun! UPDATES 22nd June 2026 - Reshared (Added automatic scoring for both players, refined wheel spinning, edited triangle and pointer proportions, added sound effects) 4th May 2026 - Initial release CREDITS Whoever originally created the board game "Wavelength". Enjoy! Just in case, no, this is not written by AI. Humans can use em-dashes too.
