i brought up the idea of making a game alongside june, so here's like the basic concept. 12 playable characters, 3 selectable per team 6 characters are on the "good guy" side and 6 on the "bad guy side" these characters are based on jungian archetypes, and i'm in the process of fleshing them out so they're not basic. "good guy" characters: the hero (leader), the rebel, the sage, the caregiver, the everyman and the innocent "bad guy" characters: the ruler (leader), the explorer, the desperate, the magician, the creator and the jester "good guy" and "bad guy" are placeholders for what i eventually call them. once you pick a character of 1 side, you can only pick characters of that side, the ones of the opposite side are locked after that initial choice (unless you cancel your first pick). for the gameplay, it's a deckbuilder where each character has cards specific to them, and cards can act as attacks, stat buffs, healing, etc. 3 move points (mp) per turn. i'd say this one's more story-driven compared to my fighting game, because the characters you pick as well as the team you end up with can heavily impact how the story ends. and i'd say that's it from my side, i can expect june to have some absolutely peak ideas to contribute to this :3
