The Poet was banned from the castle for speaking flagrantly on the king's behalf, they now walk the kingdom weaving lies about the king to the townsfolk. A Soldier saw this and proposed a duel to the poet. The Poet simply smiled, and said the following: "My words are like lighting; for they will strike you down. My tongue laid bare in silver; for not even the quickest will strike. My eyes are like the eagle; for they will read you before rewriting you."
