More Flags! The first two flags are the main flags for a friend of mine. The order is as such: War flag Main flag The second set of flags are by my little brother. Order: Main flag War flag
The first set of flags: They were made for a friend of mine. They feature two major Islamic symbols, the 8-sided star mentioned in the holy book, the Qur'an, and the crescent. In addition to that the design is featured against a green and light gold backdrop and features the "Shahada" at the bottom, a common Islamic phrase which means "to witness". It is used by new Muslims to enter Islam. The war flag has the same backdrop, but inside the star now lies the Shahada in a word-art style. Above is a crossbar/header with points on the end that symbolizes a jambiya/djambiya, a distinctly Moroccan melee weapon which is a cultural symbol, included because my friend is Moroccan. Above the header is another Moroccan symbol: It says "God, the homeland, the kingdom". Beneath the main emblem there is now a new Islamic element. It is a verse from the second chapter of the Qur'an. It means "There is no compulsion in faith". Both flags use the Raqqa Kufic script for the Arabic used. The second set of flags: These flags feature three prominent symbols: The crescent, the 8-sided star again, but also the Jabal Nur, known as the place where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received their last message. The war flag removes the filling from the star. Art by me Music by Nintendo Inspiration by @Earthpotato
