N’golo Traoré, Moussa Intalla Attaher, and Sidi Ahmed Oumar Diallo sit in a triangle within their compound. Of the three, N'golo is the only Southern Koyiran here; he knows nothing of the desert or its terrain but has the most power of the three. Both Moussa and Sidi Ahmed face towards N'golo until one speaks. Moussa, the liberal, speaks towards N'golo directly, "N'golo, we need to accept this aid from the Toubab, even the stubborn Bakarou Sissoko was pragmatic, that he would accept foreign aid in such cases as now." N'golo shakes his head, Moussa clenches his fist, and so does Sidi Ahmed. N'golo replies calmly, "Koyira must learn to stand on its two feet; we can't rely on anyone." Moussa silently curses N'golo. Sidi Ahmed, the moderate, speaks up, "Then why don't we influence Koyira from the inside? shift it away from Neuvellon discreetly as merely another socialist party. They won't bat an eye!" N'golo shakes his head again, never once averting his gaze from Moussa. Moussa, who's had enough, storms out of the room, slamming the door behind him. Sidi Ahmed turns to leave as well, closing the door behind him. N'golo approaches a painting of Bakarou Sissoko and rests his forehead against it. N'golo knows he's far too old, far too tired to lead the movement, that it's only a matter of time until the LFEZ in Koyira shatters.
lore slop for a big thing in Koyira.
