Here I will teach you about the whole history of Pyrriah/Pantala including the time of Darkstalker, the founding of Pantala, the Scorching, the time of BeetleWings and much, much more! - - - 1/9/2026 Lesson: History is an ever - developing story that connects dragons from all over the world. It is a story of mystery, heartbreak, fear, loss, happiness, anger, confusion and practically everything else. In this class we will learn all about our history’s greatest and most important events. But those events each began with a single dragon and each of their pasts that shaped the future ever - changing future. That is the lesson- that history always begins with a single thread of one dragon’s past, which is why personal histories are so important. Homework: Provide a short backstory from your own personal past. 1/16/2026 Lesson: One of the earliest known events in dragon history is the Scorching. Before the Scorching, human dens were all over Pyrriah and dragons had no tribes (though studies show that most likely these dragons were the now extinct BeetleWings). Each species kept to themselves. Until one day, a particular human who we now know to be Cottonmouth decided to steal an egg from a mother dragon and train and keep it as his own. When the mother dragon came back one day and found her egg to be missing, she was furious. She gathered a large group of dragons to burn down all the human dens in revenge. She was thought to be the first dragon queen and her followers, the first dragon tribe. This event was known as the Scorching. Homework: None 1/23/2026 Lesson: We are not sure what happened after the first dragon tribe was created. What we do know, was that eventually the first dragon tribe split into eight new tribes. These tribes were the MudWings, SkyWings, SeaWings, SandWings, RainWings, NightWings, IceWings and BeetleWings. Eventually, the BeetleWings left Pyrriah because of some danger. Whatever danger it was has been lost to time. Homework: None 1/30/2026 Lesson: Soon after the BeetleWings left Pyrriah, they came to a new continent called Pantala. But that continent threw new challenges. Perhaps even worse than the trouble that forced them to leave Pyrriah. These challenges were unlike anything the BeetleWings had ever seen. All over the continent was a type of plant later recognized as the Breath of Evil. This plant was made of pure evil magic that could control the mind of any living being. It nearly drove the dragons off the island with constant attacks of deadly animals. Eventually the dragons realized that when they cleared away the strange plant, the attacks became less. And the more they did this, the less often the attacks would come until there were none at all. They lived on this continent for thousands of years and eventually they split into two tribes: SilkWings and LeafWings. Homework: We never knew about any of these tribes for thousands of years. There could still be more out there. Make a short description of a new type of tribe you think could currently yet unknowingly exist somewhere else on the planet. 2/6/2026 Lesson: Back on Pyrriah, dragons were prospering and evolving. But they were also separating. As years went by, the isolated tribes became more and more cold (no pun intended) and distant. Battles became more and more common. It was only on a very rare occasion that an alliance would form between two or more tribes. But eventually, the tribes learned that as much as they hated each other, they still depended on each other to survive. Reasons for this are unknown.
