Sharing teams was something I never did during scarlet and violet VGC. I never wanted people to steal my strategies, but now that they are obsolete, I will release them in future projects. As pokemon champions rapidly evolves, I decided that showing off my favourite teams of each format could be a fun idea. So without further ado, here is my first favourite team of reg M-A: Evil flower theory's original name is far blunter and innapropriate for scratch, but thats not important. The team started with the soul idea that one mega evolution could counter the 2 most popular of the format, charizard and floette, and ohko them. theres only one mon that can ohko these two so efficiently, and thats mega glimmora. mega glimmora gets adaptability, doubling its STAB move power. i gave it spiky shield, power gem and sludge bomb, and earth power for coverage. as a result of playing with glimmora, its definitley my new favourite mega. i was on a roll, with my glimmora and delphox, but i realised that delphox wasnt carrying its weight. i dropped it for mega frosslass. the team was now whimsicott, sneasler, kingambit, tyrantrum, glimmora and frosslass. i dropped tyrnatrum for garchomp with roseli berry for the grand challenge, and while i placed top 20, i was unfortunatley away for most of it so couldnt play. i felt the team wasnt doing its best though, so after the grand challenge i got to work, trying everything. garchomp was a problem. everything bar whimsicott was either weak to rock slide, earthquake or dragon claw. i restarted the team, added toxapex with wide guard, ninetails alola, delphox mega. this didnt feel like it worked though, so I'll skip to the part where it actually takes shape. charizard y, sash wide guard aerodactyl, mega glimmora, roseli berry garchomp, white herb sneasler and mental herb whimsicott helped me place around 20-30,000 in the world after a total slump, a placement out of the 100,000s of players that I'm happy with after being in the dumps, as well as getting to top 20 in the grand challenge. team below if you'd like to try it out. https://pokepast.es/ab82c57e2d911749 I don't really like to use 32spd/32 atk etc, but it really worked here as many of the pokemon are frail enough and so needed this set. thanks for checcking out the project.
