|| preferred nickname: Elmer :) || no past gen cats || applying for Lupinekit || I've been on Scratch for over seven years now (old account was @Silverstone2000) and roleplayed a lot back in 2021, but kind of fell out of practice when the pandemic ended. Looking to get back into it here! There's lowkey not a lot of evidence that I did, since I left most of the studios, but most of my early followers come from there-- if you need proof these roleplays existed they might still be on some of their profiles. I've been drawing for all my life as well, and that's mainly what my scratch is about nowadays. || on spring days where lupinekit can't get out of bed, he finds comfort in watching the bees and butterflies around the den. || planned info/sexuality/pronouns - Probably Lupinemane or Lupinepetal (depending on how his life goes) - Ideally would become a warrior that focuses on training others as quickly as he can - for now he's a kit, but possibly demiromantic with a masc preference? - he/him for now, subject to change || research from: CDC basics website "How does it feel to live with ME/CFS? Patients describe what it's like" on yt various blog posts from ppl writing about their experiences mayo clinic have seen previous short-form videos from patients How CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) effects people: While it varies depending on the person and day, it's pretty much a severe lack of energy. On days where symptoms are more intense, it can manifest as the inability to perform most daily functions, sometimes even speaking or breathing can feel exhausting. Especially after more high-energy activities (like hunting, fighting, or even playing around in Lupinekit's case), symptoms can flare up. On good days, it usually manifests as feeling incredibly tired. It can also cause difficulty in focus or mental capacity, which might lead to the affected person seeming absentminded or zoning out. people with cfs often find even fun activities to be physically or mentally exhausting, which can make it a lot more difficult for them to engage with them. This of course doesn't mean that people with CFS can't engage with their hobbies, have fun, or be active, but it's definitely harder. How CFS effects Lupinekit: For Lupinekit, especially in his early stages of life, these symptoms make him frustrated and irritable, because he's less able to participate in as many kit activities. As he ages into an apprentice, he tries to push himself very hard and ignore his symptoms, which lead to them getting worse for him. In his later apprentice moons, something intense happens which causes him to "crash" for a much longer period than usual. This event would make him reconsider how he treats his disorder and take more care about his body's needs. If he survives. || Personality traits: Hardworking + especially so in teaching younger cats, he spends a lot of time on his clan duties and rarely avoids duties unless physically unable. Distant - because he spends more time resting than other cats, he often seems to be in a bit of a world of his own, and sometimes says things that don't really make sense. Empathetic + because of the time he spends alone, he usually finds time to locate something he has in common with any other cat within himself. Selfless - although selflessness is often a positive trait, he tends to be overly so, sometimes to his own detriment, especially with things like taking on others' duties. Creative + he has an eye for the arrangement of things, although it doesn't do him much good. He also enjoys taking care of a small patch of flowers. Careful + he's pretty watchful, and it's unusual to find him in any danger that could've been predicted. He's good at thinking before he acts. Workaholic - Lupinekit does things he finds important until he can't physically do anything more, rests until he can get up, then keeps trying to work, which isn't really the best work ethic. Sensitive - mean or underhanded comments tend to get to him easily, though general "annoyingness" usually doesn't. He gets very sulky when upset. Welcoming + he's usually very friendly towards newcomers, and does his best to see that cats from other walks of life are treated similarly to himself. || i should get this kit because i think i'd be able to do him justice in roleplaying, and i really want to see his character flourish. i think he's meant to do great things. || i mainly want to get lupinekit because i'd like to get back into roleplaying!! and what better way than to do it, lol. also, his design is super cutie :) || obviously no pressure to accept lol as usual. :) love ur designs || questions? nah
