Hey y'all, its mental health awareness month!! (also my sisters b-day is on May 11, so happy b-day to her) So I thought I would make a little thing, because I have had mental health problems and I know people who have them too. You matter, I don't care who you are, what you've said or done, I don't care about your skin tone, or nationality, you deserve people who treat you right. ALSO POEM I WROTE A WHILE BACK: Words They tell you that sticks and stones may break your bones, but words shall never hurt you. Words will drill themselves into your fl3sh, embedded far too deep to pull out. Words will slowly chip, and crack at your confidence until all that's left is dust Words will chase you, no matter how far you try to run They echo, shattering remnants of self-worth, the shards digging into your sk!n No matter what you do to try and cover or heal the scars words leave, they shine through, black and decaying. Words will turn who you are, into who you were. The world closes in, preying on those who do not use their words to harm another. When you pick a flower why would you pick any other than the prettiest and purest.
Credits to my friends in my Language arts class for helping me refine my poem lol
