Do not short circuit power supplys, you will burn the wire and potentially set the house on fire if your not careful. (This almost happened and luckily I caught it just in time before the wire glowed white hot and completely melted, the power supply was pushing 5 volt 10 amps of current through the wire) Note: playing with High Voltage is risky and dangerous, only a qualified person can work with High Voltage, if you don't know what your doing, stop and call a local electrician or someone you know who played with electricity for years and knows what they are doing and they will help you in the best way they can.
