The Black Sun Group (officially called the Black Sun Defense Company), is a private military group made up almost completely of Taikavian veterans (98%). The group numbered around 500 before the war, but has seen massive growth since the end of war, now numbering around 8500. If the current growth rate continues, it will number 15,000 by the end of May, and 25,000 by the end of June. Many Taikavian veterans are joining for a multitude of reasons. Main reasons include lack of employment, unfulfillment, and lingering resentment against the occupiers. The group is currently based in Ukita after an agreement was made with the government, stating that they would be able to train and live there as long as they helped in the war, through training Ukitan recruits and other activities.
