So all of u prob already know about the hacker thing, but if not, heres what I know: So basically, hackers figured out that malicious code can be hidden inside SVG files. Because SVGs are just code, they can trick a browser or a desktop (In this case, Scratch) into running different commands. This can lead to cross-site scripting, which lets hackers post comments, post/delete projects, etc., as you. This is also dangerous because after the hacker gets into your account, they can reach other files on your device. There are also certain things hackers can do to force your browser to another external website, allowing the hacker to see your IP address. How to stay safe: Avoid suspicious links (Like someone giving out free r0bux or smth). If you see sus behavior, report it! This may help the scratch team patch these issues more quickly.
Im going to prob be on my old account since I don't really care if that one gets hacked, and I'd like to play it safe-ish. Sooo I'm not gonna post many projects for a while, but if u need me, imma be on my old acc @CaliTheCat3968 Edit: nvm idrk im staying here lol. If i get hacked ill go to my old acc
