So, I've been thinking. The NS Meadville line from the B&LE/CN crossover to the WNY&P interchange really feels like it could be a shortline. Its got just enough traffic to sustain one but not enough for it to be to vital for a railroad to let go of. The MGRR or Meadville & Greenville would be a class 3 primarily sporting older GE's. They roster 7 locomotives. 3 are B23-7's, 2 are C30-7's, 1 is a GP9, and the final is a B40-8. The railroad would open in 1993 with just the B23-7 roster. Over time, more locos wold end up on the line. Now, relations with railroads. The WNY&P is a good partner that delivers much of the lines revenue. The OC&T is a very close partner, sometimes using MGRR power for back-ups. NS is a little strained as now they offer only 1 day a week to pick up cars due to PSR. CN/ B&LE is another good partner.
