Writers Collab ______________ Intro ______________ Basically my idea is a group of writers writing one book together! There will be three categories and three groups. Signups for each category, there will be competitions between groups, or teams in these competitions as well as character making, plot planning, world building etc. You'll be writing one book your group makes up together, it's your groups choice what you wan't to do with the finish product. For Romance: It is allowed! Its like one of the favorite genres - Do remember the ages in the specific group your in though and keep it appropriate for that age group :) ________________ Group Leaders ________________ Of each group their will be a Leader, they will keep track of points (from competitions) for their team, they will store their book so far in a google doc whatever they wan't to use, they basically keep all the actual stuff together and if you choice to publish this book (completely optional) then they would do the honors. Let me clarify on this: publishing would be on a minor program (like Lulu), you would not have your real name instead your pen names, and if a single person feels uncomfortable doing it in your team your not doing it. Team leaders usually do the honors of making the cover or choosing someone to. But plot making and things are a team effort. _______________ Genres or Groups _______________ The three themes or genres of the three teams are: ~Adventure~ 10+ Ages Fast‑paced, exciting, high‑energy ~Mystery/Thriller~ 13+ Ages Puzzles, mystery excitement, thrill ~Fantasy~ 12+ Ages Worlbuilding, magic, mythical creatures ______________ General Info ______________ There is a max of 10 people in each group and a minimum of 5. This includes the team leader. You start with the plot, there is a group chat for each group where you can brainstorm together the basic idea of the book and then go deeper and finalize the entire plot, who will write which chapter, etc. For characters, once you make the plot more or less each person (USUALLY, but not always) will have a chance to create a character based on the general idea of the character. Depending on how many people are in your group and how many characters you have you may now be able to each make a character, or some/all make multiple. It really depends. _______ Rules _______ - Be Kind - Don't be T.R.A.S.H - Collaborate with everyone - Listen to each other's ideas and be open to change - But, don't demand change from other people, especially when they already worked hard on making a certain thing.
