These steps won't stop you from getting hacked or make you immune to social engineering. It is important to note that most of these steps are more to hide from big tech corporations and the government, not to stop you from getting hacked. All instructions will be absolutely useless if you don't understand how to stay safe online in the first place. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's also important to note that on the fifth level, it may be possible to use limited amounts of electricity in order to connect to the outside world via homelabbing. This makes it possible for people to download all of wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Database_download) or use online courses (https://library.kiwix.org) etc. therefore making it possible to use certain websites without actually using the internet. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Reminder: It isn't okay to do illegal things even if you're anonymous (or you think you are.) Even though these steps make it hard for the government to track you and therefore make them less likely to target you, people using Tor and I2P have been arrested for commiting crimes on the dark web. You will never be fully invisible to the government. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Not so fun fact: Google reported $264.59 billion in ad revenue in 2024. So that comes out to about $61 per year per person globally and $460 per year per every single user in the United States and Canada.
