WARNING: THIS PART GETS EXTREMELY CRINGY!!! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! I couldn’t wait to get back to my dorm after all my classes. I had some more homework, but not much. It was P.E. that was absolutely brutal. When I arrived at my dorm after my classes, I was greeted with a sweet smell and an unexpected loud crash. “Cater!” I heard a voice exclaim. “Whoops! Sorry Trey. I was just trying to get some sweet Magicam pics.” Everything sounded like it was coming from the dorm’s kitchen. I knew Cater was in there, but I wasn’t sure who else was with him, or what they were doing. I decided to see what was going on. “Hello? Is anyone in here?” I asked as I entered the kitchen. “Oh, Ezra. Hey.” To my surprise, both Trey and Cater were there. “What are you guys doing?” I asked. “Cater was just helping me make some tarts.” Trey replied. “Ez, you should try them! Trey’s tarts are seriously good!” Cater exclaimed, urging me over. “Oh. Actually, I have a lot of homework I need to get done. Maybe some other time though.” I say before I head to my room. Once I enter my room, I drop my stuff on my bed. I grab all my homework and place it on my desk by my bed. “Alright, let’s get to work.” I say as I stretch my arms out before sitting down. Most of my work was pretty simple. A potion recipe here, some equations there. I pull out my History of Magic homework. “Now for the big part.” I say. I recite the incantation, excited to see the result. As the result shows, my face fills with dread. What was read on my paper was absolutely horrible. You have a crush on Riddle Rosehearts. it read. “W-what!?” I stuttered. I tried it a few more times, just in case it made a mistake. But it was the same everytime. You have a crush on Riddle Rosehearts. You have a crush on Riddle Rosehearts. You have a crush on Riddle Rosehearts.
A crush!? On Riddle, of all people!? “No! No, no, no!” I exclaimed “H-he’s my Housewarden!” All of a sudden I hear a knock on my door, and a voice calling my name, “Ezra? You in there?” It was Deuce. “Huh? Y-yeah!” I answer, slamming my book shut and opening my door. “We were all gonna get some dinner at the Mostro Lounge, if you wanted to join.” Deuce suggests to me. I immediately accepted Deuce’s invite. I wanted to get as far away from my homework as possible. Me and Deuce chat a bit as we head to the main entrance of Heartslabyul. Trey and Ace are already there, waiting for us. “Alright, we should be about ready to go. Just waiting on Cater to get-” All of a sudden I hear yelling and lots of commotion in one of the hallways. “Cater! Unhand me this instant shall you lose your head!” “Sorry Riddle, no can do! You’re comin with us!” Cater came in, dragging a nearly flailing Riddle behind him. “Wait, Riddle’s coming too?” I ask, trying to hide the panic in my voice. “Duh!” Cater exclaimed, “We’re all going! Besides, Her Majesty here needs to get out more.” Riddle nearly started fuming, “Cater! I have explicitly instructed you not to call me that! And besides, I’m perfectly fine going out… just not there.” “Why not?” I ask, confused. “Riddle’s got a little trouble with one of the Octavinelle students.” Cater says, winking. “Guys. We have to go so we can get there before they close.” Trey says, reminding us of what the original plan was. We all headed to the Mirror Chamber and entered the portal to Octivinelle dorm. When we came through the other side, I realized we were under water now. I immediatly held my breath, expecting to choke on water. Trey smiles as he chuckles, “You can stop holding your breath. You’re not going to drown.” “Huh?” I opened my mouth and looked around. I relized that there was a bubble around us all. When we got to the dorm entrance, Deuce showed us all the way to the Mostro Lounge. “Wow, Deuce!” I exclaim, “You really know your way around here!” Deuce shows a shy grin, “Heheh… Yeah… Let’s just say I’ve been forced here more than enough times…” “Deuce,” Riddle starts, exasperated, “Please tell me you’re not saying what I think you’re saying…” Deuce freezes, and then points at Ace and stammers, “A-Ace did it to!” “Deuce! You little-” Ace then tackles Deuce to the ground, causing the doors to burst open, making a scene. “My my. What have we here?” A tall boy with teal hair and a black streak says with a sly smile. “Why, it’s just you two. Back to make another deal with Azul?” Trey stepped over them both, “No no. We actually were hoping to get a table.” “Ah, so you’ve come as customers this time… Right this way, then.” The boy said grabbing menus and heading towards a table. Once we got there, we all sat down. Of course, I just had to have been sat right next to Riddle. I could feel my face burning. The tall boy handed us the menus. His eyes fell on me as he continued his slightly creepy smile. “Oh,” He said, “I see you brought a new face. Well then,” He said, turning to me, “Welcome to the Mostro Lounge. You may call me Jade.” As Jade introduced himself, I heard a small giggle behind me. “Oh? Is that Goldfishie and friends? Hi Little Goldfishie!” I turned around and saw another boy, almost identical to Jade, behind me. Me and the Jade Look-alike lock eyes. Jade notices and takes it upon himself to introduce us. “This is my brother Floyd. I’d be careful around him if I were you.” As soon as Jade says that, Floyd smiles wide and exclaims, “You look like you’d be fun to squeeze!” “Sq-squeeze!?” I say, panicked. “Floyd, no! I will not have you squeezing Ezra!” Riddle says, fuming. My face goes red at the thought of Riddle protecting me. Doing that, Floyd immediately notices. “Heheh… Your face is all red like a lobster!” Floyd jabs a finger at my face. I push it away, denying everything. “What? No! It’s just… hot in here! Is anyone else starting to overheat?” I say as an excuse, pretending to wipe away sweat. “Heehee! You shut up like a little clam!” Floyd then hesitates for a moment before exclaiming, “Oh! I’ll call you Clammy! Hi Clammy!”
