Now Aragon has finally begun to recover and finally meet the standards in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. Even if we did perform well during the war, it is clear that reform and expansion are needed for the armed forces to secure the nation's dream for Iberia We will first start with compulsory military service for all 18-year-olds (excluding Aragon for now, as they are not a province yet), lasting 1 year. This will mostly occur in rotations, to ensure they can study and do things in their own time, and so the economy doesn't grind to a halt. When conscripted, trainees may choose between the army, navy, and air force to do their one-year service, and when completed, may either stay or become reservists. Our second project for remilitarization is the arms industry, projects to construct factories, and also for semiconductor plants and microchip plants to help produce some of the more advanced military hardware. This will be done via the Consorcis, by constructing these new industries, it will hopefully also help stimulate the local economies and national ones. The equipment produced is mostly old Spanish designs, since we easily have access to the designs of rifles, uniforms, grenades, radios, basic anti-tank equipment, basic artillery, drones and basic anti-air equipment, a lab is set up in the Aragonese mountains to reverse engineer more advanced equipment such as fighter jets and bombers, aswell as mechanised and tank equipment, as we have for now relied on stockpiles and the international market
Reusing some old assets I had when I was playing as Iberia in an RP, both are modeled after Spanish military equipment, so it should be accurate for what my military is using. I'll design domestic arms and equipment eventually, cause i dont have a lot of time right now.
