Welcome to The Crystallized Valley, a WCRP with a tini tiny twist to it. In the valley surrounded by mountains, cats have.. changed, taking on shape of the dark curse lingering over the area. ☛ the valley. ☛ the curse. ☛ about the rp. ☛ some basics ☛ start off explanation •~—•~—•~—•~—•~ [ • the valley • ] The valley is, like the name suggests, a valley surrounded by mountains and a white sphere taking in the place of where a sky should‘ve been. Located in it’s middle, a cliff falls off steep into a deceivingly deep lake. Mist curls softly on the waters surface, towering up in the center of the lake as if a talon of mist reached for the sphere. On one side of the waters, a warped and twisted forest is taking over the lower stretches of the mountain chain. Light barely reaches the ground, and next to unknown vines and trees, a lot of strange fungi populate the foliage of the forest. The fungi often emit a soft glow, and are used as light sources for visitors. The other shore, however, seems to contain nothing but grass dancing in the wind, a few scarce boulders and dying trees scattered loosely across the landscape. [ • the curse • ] ‚One day, a piece broke off of a world and tumbled into the eternal darkness. A void that had been filled with a thick supernatural fog, that we call.. the curse.‘ - nocturnevein, npc The curse has shaped this world, and divided the cats into different species. It seems to be the cause of the protective sphere and nourishment of the valley, day and night cycle, and so on. And yet, one tremor in the balance and everything might be lost. The curse is hostile and it lingers. The old tales are long forgotten by the clans, yet.. the curse hasn’t forgotten. Will the clans survive once it‘s time? That is a question for you to find out.. •~—•~—•~—•~—•~ [ • about the rp • ] TCV is a WCRP offering multiple species and a world full of questions. Events will occur over time, and the roleplayers determine the pace of this world‘s story. The rp sets its focus on storytelling, and providing mechanics to support its focus and activity of roleplayers. The world TCV plays in isn’t realistic, nor will (most) of the rp be; TVC allows same sex couples to have kits, and has somewhat unrealistic species. However, this doesn’t mean disabilities, disorders or conditions should be misinterpreted or not researched. Ableist views aren’t welcomed under any circumstances, and disabilities should only ever be given to characters with the wish to properly represent them and spread a bit of awareness. If you want to get further into mechanics, head over to and you might find something of your interest to read through ^^ Donated litters are perma-open ; I will be trying this out, yet still parented ones shoulddd be prioritized :pleading face: that’d be great. •~—•~—•~—•~—•~ [ • start off explanation • ] A basic summary of the most affective mechanics In this rp, you can’t sign up a cat you made up. You claim a kit from a litter, starting their life from the very beginning. You can get a kit from a litter in the litter hub; if there’s no litters, feel free to ask for ping ^^ In TCV, you’re allowed to own 2 live characters, and up to 7 deceased ones. (For systems, 2 live and 7 deceased characters per headmate). There are a few rules to this, though; your two characters may never interact, nor be in the same clan. There also should be a month at minimum between obtaining your first and second character, preferably six weeks, so your first character gets the chance to grow up before your second does. If one of your characters becomes a highrank, the other cannot become one, and whilst having a highrank, you shouldn‘t obtain a second character. In TCV, cats only grow 82 moons old due to the curse, aging in the following steps - 1 - 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 - 12 - 14 - 16 - 18 - 20 - 24 - 28 - 32 - 36 - 40 - 46 - 52 - 58 - 64 - 70 - 74 - 78 - 82 - xx 1 - 2 moons :: one moon per week 2 - 20 moons :: two moons per week 20 - 40 moons :: four moons per week 40 - 70 moons :: six moons per week 70 - 82 moons :: four moons per week 82+ moons :: six moons per week A cat can stay alive for about six months, which is a more realistic amount time to care and stay attached to a character. A cat is standardly apprenticed with 6 moons, graduating to warriorhood at 12 moons. While it isn’t a specific rank or really of a matter, warriors can be considered senior warriors past the age of 40 moons. Retirement is possible by free will with 60+ moons already, but will happen at 70 moons at latest; at 82 moons, a leader will start to loose lives due to old age, and any other cat passes. Weekly leader death chances - 82 - 88 :: 20% 88 - 94 :: 40% 94 - 100 :: 75% 106 - 112 :: 95% 112+ :: 100%
