Hey everyone, I don't know about you, but when I first played @_Fire_Star's OG version of the game, I thought: "Man, wouldn't this be so fun if it got updates and tweaks?..(and the stupid 'Acornstar wants to see you at BigRock' thing goes away??)" Well, I decided something that night. I was going to make that happen. I was. Nothing could stawp me. So here, ladies, gentlemen, and non-binary folks, is my FIRST EVER CODING PROJECT! (And it actually WORKS!!) I'd say I have a bit of a natural talent... Warrior Cats Game V4 is finally here! Drop a like and a star if you have the time! Feel free to remix, but plz give credit. Here are the instructions on how to play. (I would encourage you to also read the notes/credits for further tips and instructions.) || Basic Movement Controls || Use the arrow keys to move, and click on the pawprints to go to a different area. This works for all pawprints except the pawprints near the Bigrock. For those, simply walk over them. Attention: This version of this game will not work on mobile. || How to progress through the game || You start off as a kit. Your mother, Roseleaf, will ask you what you want your name's prefix to be. If you don't have a suffix idea, when it asks you what you want your name to be, don't type anything, just enter a blank slate, and Roseleaf will choose a name for you. If you don't know what I mean, keep reading. If you have never read Warriors before, I'll talk to you about their names. I'll use the prefix "Misty" as an example. If "Misty" was a kit, her name would be Mistykit, using the suffix "kit." If she were an apprentice, her name would be Mistypaw, using the suffix "paw." If she were to become a Warrior, the leader would choose a Warriors-related suffix, (Basically only things that wildcats would know about or noticeable characteristics.) An example of a suffix that wildcats would know about would be "Mistysky," as it couldn't be "Mistysprinkle" or anything like that, because that's something that only humans make and know much about. An example of a suffix based off of notable characteristics would be if "Misty" had a long streak on her back, her Warrior name could be "Mistystreak." An example of which a characteristic suffix would be wrong would be if "Misty" had no spots, and her Warrior name was "Mistyspots." To become an apprentice, just talk to Acornstar and he will ask you 3 questions regarding the Warrior Code. Do not go straight to him at the start of the game. There are certain things you can do as a kit that you cannot do as an apprentice. Once you are an apprentice, go through the story until you are free to level up by yourself. Then, earn exp points until you are up to level 10. You will also need to have reached at least 100 HP, and then speak to your mentor. There are things that you can only do if you are female. After you become a warrior, you can have kits with Oreo...if you're female. (Male kits story is coming soon!) :3 Attention: I haven't published most of the code about the game script after you have kits bc it's not ready yet. (The game is pretty much finished once you do.) Please also do not spoil the story in the comments, if you do I will delete your comment. || Battling || Click the buttons to battle. Only click the button when it says 'Your turn' otherwise the game will glitch. Once a battle is over, your max HP, atk and level exp will increase, even if you lose. Do not spam the buttons during the battle because then the scratch animations will glitch and the game might get stuck. || How to get pets || To get a pet birb, go to the training grounds. There is a chance you might find a birb. If you do not find one you can just leave the area and go in again. Once you find one, click it and it will follow you around! However be careful with the choice of birb, because you cannot get another one. Interact with your birb by clicking it. This will raise your friendship with your birb. 3 is the max friendship level. || Fresh-Kill Pile || If you go into the main area of the camp, you will see a pile of mice. This pile of mice, or a "fresh-kill pile" as the Warriors call it, is where you put the prey you've caught. If you simply click on it, it'll either thank you for depositing prey, or tell you that you have nothing to deposit. When you do this, your "Prey Caught" count in your "Character Details" will return to zero, but if you hover over the pile and press space, it will tell you how many pieces of prey you've deposited. ||Having kits|| Once you have a mate, you can have kits with them. You are stuck in the nursery until you name them and you only get one chance, so make a good choice! Thanks for reading, now play the game!
