5/2412 With delayed and weak responses from the government of China, Hubbard has sent forth an order to maintain gains and hold the line. With this, and with the strange assistance of Oceania, the lines have stabilized. Forces are digging in and fortifying their positions, and societies are being established in liberated areas. The societies of "Northern Vietnam" have been reintegrated into the greater Jundui Junior societal collective, and a Burmese group of societies is also being established. Churches are being built, auditing is commencing, and the NASM is digging in for the long haul. Conversion rates have already started to accelerate, and distribution systems are also being established in the newly liberated areas. The local people are being taught the ways of LRH, and hopefully, with time, they will soon come to join the United Societies. For now, however, they remain nominally independent while under the voluntary protection of the USoLRH. Now, with these areas secured and the frontline largely stabilized, fighting is likely to stall for some time, so preparations are being made for diversion elsewhere for vital Junduian forces. It also seems that voluntary participation in the voluntary forces has taken hold, as numbers are reaching higher and higher. Hailrh. With this, forces are being relocated to the mainland and across the NASM holdings to defend (voluntarily) all participating and liberated areas. Production is increasing, and other areas (like the UEOAAD) are facing an increase in conversion rates as church production increases. As all of this is voluntary, it has not been met with aggression by most. All "aggressive" action has been essentially weeded out anyway given the widespread usage of (voluntary) brain chips and a mass culture of support for Hubbard, but there are still those who despise utopia. If one does not wish to live here, they do not have to. And they won't. Hubbard has made it a policy to allow anyone to enter or leave at their leisure, with completely open borders (except with nations at war, where military personnel may be stopped (civilians can pass)) etc. Overall, production and cultural homogony (at least in the form of religion) are at an all-time high, and things are looking good for the NASM. Hailrh. Finally, prototypes for several new technologies have been developing in many areas, specifically the concepts of those codenamed "LAND SHARK" and "CAVER". The NASM seems to be particularly bad at codenaming classified objects, but considering the fact that all of this is largely public knowledge and developed for the public good, nothing is questioned. Regardless, technologies to combat underground pests has been put into motion and will likely see usage in the soon-to-come advancement period. It should also be noted that Nasmites (the people of the NASM, they have the distinct physical attributes of wearing crosses and having large amounts of cybernetics and visible brainchips) have been spotted all across Europe and the Americas, though sightings have been largely confined to the Americas. These figures seem to be perpetuating some kind of operation, but the purpose of this is unknown. It is unknown if they are acting independently for a foreign adversary or in the interest of the public benefit. Only time will tell. Hailrh.
