Some people will just take advantage of you. - Be kind to others, even if they aren't kind to you. ALL GLORY TO GOD!!
I made this project for my little sister who likes this story. This version is inspired by some other versions, like the one from Usborne First Reading and the animated story by Geethanjali Kids. Some parts were inspired by the anime series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto, such as the outfits of some characters or how the gingerbread man escaped. (I like adding references and easter eggs to things!) This project took 3 weeks to make. It's got 16 sprites, 24 backdrops, 149 costumes, and 1184 blocks. Some sound effects from myinstants.com, some from the Scratch Sound Library. I got the idea one night when my mother was reading the story "The Gingerbread Man" to my little sister. I listened too, since I had forgotten the ending. I thought the gingerbread man escaped or something, but it got eaten by the fox in the end. It wasn't a happy ending to me. The next morning, I took the book and tried to draw new pages to tape inside. I made it that just after the fox ate the gingerbread man, it's revealed that the gingerbread man was just a Shadow Clone(from Naruto) and went poof as it got eaten. I was thinking of it ending there, but I remembered how the little old woman and little old man were sad because they had no children. And what if the poor fox was still hungry, like the others who chased the gingerbread man? So I made the gingerbread man leave a note for the fox, telling him to come to the old couple's house and invite the others, because the little old woman is a very good cook. The gingerbread man comes home and becomes the couple's child, while the others come over for some delicious food. And they all lived happily ever after! ALL GLORY TO GOD!!
