Warning, rambling ahead: Guess who just finished her first year at college??? It was pretty good. It went by super super fast. I haven't been as active on Scratch these past few days because I was in the Great Smoky Mountains with my mom and best friend. So sorry, but also not sorry because I was spending time in nature with people I love. Then, my mom and I had to drive about 13 hours all the way home :') but im back now! (So if im behind on any replies feel free to ping me) I made a good portion of this animation on the road the times when my mom was driving, but I just finished it up now and got to posting it. The scenery is very very inspired by the mountains, which were absolutely beautiful, and I wanted to practice drawing a river/stream/moving water because there is going to be a river scene in episode 2 of Moonflower! Speaking of Moonflower, I'm genuinely so shocked and flattered by kinda how much attention it's getting, but moreso how kind and nice and encouraging people are in the comments :') It's so so sweet to read through them all. One of the biggest reasons I made it was because I remembered watching wolf animated series when I was younger and they were part of what inspired me to draw and start creating my own ocs and stories, and if my series could be that inspiration for someone else it would mean the world to me. And, some people have already kinda said it is. I said that I was going to start working on the Moonflower intro-song animation while I was in the mountains, but I never did. It was partly because I was busy, and partly because I honestly just didn't want to. I think that little break was good for me though, and I feel ready to start on that probably tomorrow (or maybe later tonight!). Also, I have been getting lots and lots of va/artist applications since releasing the first episode, which again is very flattering, but one of the hardest things to do is to figure out how to politely turn people down. Because on one hand im so so flattered that anyone at all would volunteer to help me!! But also, I can't accept everyone, and I know what I want this series to be, and not everyone can fit that, y'know? Ahh, it's been hard, and I have a stack of email applications I need to respond to, if not today then tomorrow. Anyways anyways, onto Venna. I love her so so much!!! I love her rping with Haunt and Seleniumpearl and Tiger/Howl and Aurelia and Milky Way and Winterberrykit and now Hauntstar (to ask to join SkyClan!!), and I'm so so excited to see where her story leads. Also, realistically, Venna will not be going anywhere near any large bodies of water for the foreseeable future, if she can help it (bc of nearly drowning earlier). So, maybe this scene/animation isn't canon. Or maybe this is a really shallow stream that she knows she could stand in if she did fall in. Who knows? Not me.
Art, animation, and character belong to me. Sounds found on Pixabay Can y'all tell I was obsessed with playing with glow/soft glow? This piece kinda hurts my eyes to look at now, maybe I overdid it :')
