[ • litter hosting guide • ] ☛ kits. ☛ rules. ☛ Pings & registration. ☛ donates. •~—•~—•~—•~—•~— [ • kits • ] One litter can contain up to 4 kits without trinkets. However, I do advise donates to have about 2-3 kits to prevent overflow. You may not claim a kit from a litter you are hosting for yourself, or preclaim a design made by you. Names cannot include dashes; spiderlilykit is fine, spider-lilykit isn’t. Technically valid names also should never be used as an excuse to be ableist; moldkit for example isn’t under any circumstances a name for a kit with ex. vitiligo, wormkit is a terrible name for a furless cat, etc etc. Eternally long word mush names also aren’t valid; you can call a kit waterlilykit if you really want to, but the line is at names such as rollingwavekit or three-word names. I might remove the name fusing in the future if it gets genuinely overused and the fact that one word names can be beautiful too gets overlooked, or it’s just used because it’s often not allowed elsewhere, so if you do use fused names, think of them as a rare special occasion. Names should be english by default, in exception of words that don’t have a proper translation. Some names are prefix-only; ex. malady, plague (I will have to think about that one furtherly tho) carnage, blood, vein, bone, skull, curse (considering flesh); but some very obviously invalid names aren’t valid just because TCV has a sligh horror tilt, just throwing that out there. [ • rules • ] You are **required** to read through the species guide, provide research for kits that need it (as litter host), and this. Please do not just give this a quick glance and call your duty done, I will probablyyy redirect you here anyways if you miss something. AGAB, name, height and appearance are up to you, everything else to the roleplayer. Please refrain from using quotes in other languages without a translation following right behind, (Note- the sentence cannot be unrelated.) or fancy fond anywhere else than in the title. Litters must have a thumbnail containing the litter‘s clan, parented/donated and the litter type (fcfs, s, ss) You reserve the right to decline applicants using AI on the spot. Please back check this beforehand. You’re asked to provide research regardless of whether you have it, are just hosting/ co-hosting or even the designer; I’d prefer no disabilities being added for looks or without having researched them to designs, since they should be added with the desire to represent them and spread a little bit of awareness. [ • pings & registration • ] Upon finishing you litter, you can submit it to the litter hub using the form in it‘s desc. I advise to submit any needed research right away too, as it will probablyyy get the litter to be added faster; research can be anywhere ^^ It is a requirement to ping the ‚winners‘ when they are able to register their character. Donates/fcfs - provide storage link, inform them about self-registry and link them for questions. S/ss - inform ‚winners‘ that they can now register their character at their assorted storage, optionally link for questions. To get started with the litter opening in the first place, you have to register it in the litter hub. Provide a link to research right away, as that’s the easiest for both sides. If you receive ‚form invalid‘ please please check the form again before you ask any questions. I am not going to tell you that your form is wrong if there’s anything with the litter. [ • donates • ] Donated litters are a little special; I will be more strict about coloration (in form of not looking over small mistakes), and the names of these kits must match their clan. Reason for this is, that while parents come up with the names for their kits, ‚donates‘ (aka kits found and brought to camp) names are decided by the clan, and chances are high they end up getting named species accurate. So, let’s get onto it: Luminous donates should use birds, wildflowers, things found in grass plains, light related and flight styles/moves (ex. soar, ascend, swarm, glide) or jewels. - Woven donates on the other hand may use mist related names (including liquid), anything stringy (ex. silk, chain, mycelium), words to resemble something twisted or warped, all kinds of fungi (no scientific names) and frightening noises (ex. screech, creak). - Abyssal donates should use longer, more mythical sounding names. For example, go for hollowed over hollow, shaded over shady, shadowed over shadow. Their names should resemble darkness, emptiness, eternity or being cursed. For more material names, crack and tunnel related ones also work.
[ • suggestions • ] Mainly for donates, but feel free to use any or be inspired by anything for parented litters too ^^ All these names are guaranteed to be valid! Feel free to suggest more, or ask at @redbasil if a name is valid.
