----Character I'm applying for---- I'm applying for the little Mimickit! I have so many idea's for her. ----Personality---- (+)Compassionate, adaptable, reliable Mimickit is a very sweet, sweet cat who goes above and beyond to understand others. She's the type of cat you can go to if you want to vent all your frustrations or even advice on a topic. You can put her in any situation and she'll most likely try to take the lead and smooth things out. (-)Mimicry, anxious, perfectionism Sadly her good traits don't show up much because she tends to "mask" her feelings. Really she's just mimicking others and their happy behaviors or what is seen as acceptable because she's afraid of stepping out of her shell and letting out the real her. (This will show up mostly in her apprenticeship and early warriorhood. NOT kithood) (=)Quiet, reserved, analytical Mimickit is very quiet and she tends to keep to herself a lot. She is also very analyzing tending to stick to the shadows and watch other cats reactions before she shapes her own. You could say she likes to IMITATE others reactions. ----Future gender+Pronouns+sexuality---- Cisgender as she/her her whole life. Her gender is one of the only things she is sure about in her life. She will probably be straight or Uranic. ----Past Gens characters---- Tree (oofed due to inactivity) Faunapaw (oofed due to wolves) Cheerear (oofed due to lack of motivation) Woesmile (oofed due to eagle) ----Research---- I hope it's okay if I add ADHD^^ https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1289216004/ Masking is actually quite common for those with ADHD (Specifically females) and most don't know their masking until it is pointed out. (Like myself). I actually didn't realize I was doing a form of masking till I looked into it. Now how this will affect Mimic is that she will probably have several panic/anxiety attacks from overly bottled up emotions. And she'll also appear organized when really her brain is like a destroyed beehive. A mess. She will also constantly make a concious effort to sit still which might lead to burn out eventually. She also tends to stay quiet during conversations and act laid back as to not reveal rejection sensitivity. She'll also probably try and "tone down" certain emotions such as excitement or other. She will very much constantly make excuses for her forgetfulness or careless mistakes. ----Activity level---- I would say 8.5/10 ----Trivia---- Lets see... -Likes being alone as that is the only time she can be herself -Loves going on walks through the forest. She usually goes on border patrols just for an excuse to walk around the territory -She also likes to swim as that requires constant movement and she sees it as useful for self-stimulation. ----Idea dump---- This whole masking thing will only really start during her apprenticeship. As a kit she'll act as an excitable rambunctious kit who has a tendency not to listen. In her apprenticeship it'll look like she'd mellowed out and matured. Eventually she will break through this mask and show her true self. First around only certain cats and with coaxing from those certain cats she'll start becoming herself more often in public.
