Walking silently in the sandy forest, I lower my head and sniff the air. Dry pine. Warm sand. And there! A faint thread of cottontail rabbit, drifting somewhere nearby. My muscles tense, ready to- "Hello? You there?" asks by best friend, Ava. My daydream then fades away and gets replaced by the sight of a white cafeteria with kids all around and loud voices start filling my ears. "Yes, I'm here." I quickly respond to avoid embarrassment. "So... what you think about the teachers?" I look around to familiarize myself after I was daydreaming. I remember we were talking about our teachers. I looked at our friend group table. There was Ava who was quite short but still taller than me, with her straight, short black hair and braces. And Evan, he had brown hair, and usually had a plaid shirt on. "Hey, what does the chicken say to the chicken? We're nuggets! Ha Ha Ha!" He said in his joking squeaky voice. "We're off topic." says London. London was a girl with dark brown hair with braids. She was the leader of our group. "Ivy, we asked you what you're opinion on the teachers was." London said in a non-threatening tone. "Umm... they're good I guess... even though Mrs. Quill called me a furry..." I said in a shy voice. "UH UH! You're NO furry! WHERE DOES MRS. QUILL LIVE?" said London is a mad voice. She doesn't like people misidentifying us. She doesn't know I'm a furry. "Mrs. Carter gave us cookies in class..." shyly said by Ava trying to stay on a positive topic. London sighed... "The teacher is forcing me to walk laps and recess, so my perspective on the teachers is that... well... if you do the slightest thing, they'll make to walk and recess or at P.E. And if someone does something bad, the whole grade has to walk. They also teach us the same things over and over again, it's easy to get bored." London tells us when lunch is wrapping up.
