-- Chapter 3 -- Dear Diary, it’s me, Nova, yet again. I’m now halfway through my freshman year, and thankfully it isn’t going by as slow as I thought it would, which is nice. I’ve been talking to Daniel a little more than before. He seems like a really nice guy, though everyone seems to want to talk to him. I wish he was more open in his schedule. He has a lot of games to attend. I guess that’s normal for a kid who's really athletic. Adrian’s still by my side too. In fact, at lunch today, we were looking back at our yearbooks from elementary school. Time sure does go by fast, and sometimes you don’t even realize it. Recently, my brother has stopped giving me advice on high school. He says that he’s taught me everything I need to know. Still not sure about the whole “breath-holding and chemistry room” thing though. My mom still wishes that I’d write in this diary more, but with all the work I have to get done, on top of my few after school activities from time to time, I think she’s starting to understand my time constraints more. She’s been helping me with a lot of my school work too, which is always nice to have, especially when I’m stuck on something like a math worksheet. There’s a volleyball team I tried out for too, though I didn’t make the team. I still go to all of their games as long as they're close to our town. It seems like I have nothing else left to write about. I think I covered everything. Adrian, Daniel, volleyball, my mom, my brother. Yup, my list is checked off. I’ll be sure to write in this again soon. See you then Diary.
@leonnite126678 (that's me!) for the story, the banner (made on Canva), and my ideas I guess @its_aves for hosting the writing contest!
