They said, “WHY….” They again had the maddening response of silence. DevilFang hissed through bared teeth, but carried on. When they arrived at the great hall DevilFang’s blo0d red eyes opened wide in shock. the skylight was open, showering in the red light of the legendary, once in a century, Blo0d Moon. “W-what? That’s today? Is that really the blo0d moon?” They stammered to their father, not believing to be able to see the rare sight of the Blo0d Moon. “Yes, that is real. You are blessed with luck to be able to see it at such a young age, and not when you are older.” Their father said, smiling. “ You are also blessed with luck by being chosen by the blo0d moon to be our next savior and champion.” DevilFang Just stood there, staring into the empty abyss of their father’s eyes. “W-what?” They stammered, pulling back. “No! I can’t-“ “But you are.” King DemonBlo0d cut in. “And it would be disrespectful to the blo0d moon if you rejected it.” They thought about it ” if I reject this, and I know I want to, even though it is an honor to be chosen, the blo0d moon might punish me.” DevilFang thought to themself, thinking deeply. They took a deep breath and said, “Okay.”
