The lore of The Last Sparked is a high-stakes, spiritual journey where the final member of a civilization acts as a mobile temple for their God attempting to protect it long enough to release a cure. his name is Lux, and he, is The Last Sparked. *~The Divine Core (The Queen)~* A Goddess: The Core is a teal energy hive-mind that acts as a Queen or God to the Sparked. The Lifeline: Every Sparked being is "Sparked" by receiving a small piece of her energy, which grants them sentience and a connection to her "gut feeling" warnings. The Great Silence: The Abyssal is hunting the core to corrupt her. As it infects Sparked beings one by one, their lights go out, leaving the core (and the world) in darkness. *~The Antagonist: The Abyssal Curse~* The Sneak: The Curse is a master manipulator. It doesn't just attack; it "sneaks" into a Vessel at any moment to steal a shard of the core within all the sparked ones. The Corruption: Once inside a Vessel, it takes around 30 minutes to overwrite the soul. The person effectively "dies," and their body becomes a Cursed One—a puppet for the Abyssal.
