Toledo and, later, Madrid were the centers of power in Spain and Iberia. Both flourished under the m`onarchy, from the heart of the Emirate of Cordoba to the core of the Spanish Empire, these cities have always been important places, yet now they struggle under the Revolutionary Republic, directly to our west. The ancient capitals of Spain (and to a lesser extent, Portugal) shall be liberated. The war begins with a series of drone strikes across the nation, targeting communications, military bases, and ammo depots, hopefully damaging their capabilities. We will also utilise fighters to try to launch airstrikes on railways, roads, and bridges to try to hamper enemy responses. Once this is done, the main offensive will begin, like all our campaigns, our offensives mostly utilise mountaineers, with infantry to defend against ambush, drones are scout areas and help with calcuating the best paths to try reach the enemy lines, once we do, our troops will attempt to push them back and establish inital positions to smooth out the inital front line, with plans for an incirclement being drawn up.
