Uh elipsy warning bc the characters blinking out every three seconds bc its not finished :’) OK SO THIS IS MY NEW OC AND I LOVE HIM SM I DECIDED TO IMMEDIATELY MAKE AN ANIMATION OF HIM THE MOMENT HE WAS CREATED LOL, but anyways, I gotta say im pretty proud of this animation, especially those leggys, ive never done a good looking walk cycle before so im proud of myself :D. BUT THAT TORSO ON THE OTHER HAND WAS SCREWING WITH ME ON THE WALK, I just legit couldn’t figure out the timing of it going down, how far it should go down, whether it should pull the head along like a balloon ect. This animation aint finished and I plan on adding the flowey little tails later but I needed another animation example if I decided to scrap this XD Things I did learn from this so far: Over-exaggerate the wind up *so more than one frame* Try and offset the timing of the head and hands if you can and it’ll look more natural The most time in these types of walks is spent in the air and while absorbing the impact of the step The moment you step, your other leg is already pulling in for the next step The head and the torso needed to be animated straight ahead and thats why it kept on looking clunky until I completly erased the torso and retried it
