I support. As a bisexual person, I came out to my friends. They accepted it, and then started shipping me with a random guy, calling me gay and trying to "plan a wedding". I don't like him, but they don't care. They have also told him, and I am not friends with him. He sits next to me in science but hasn't brought it up yet, and for that I am grateful.
